Bring an adult to help you make a wiggle tray - ages 3 and up
Service Description
Parent and kids ages 3 and can enjoy making their own wiggle trays. This is a simple, engaging, and age-appropriate, fostering creativity while introducing clay to the parent child duo. The wiggles are easy to form with hands or basic tools, perfect for little ones. We will Keep the trays small (4-6 inches) to suit their attention spans and motor skills. You can make two small trays or one larger tray together (best for older children). All clay and glazes will be food safe. • Activity Structure (1 hour): • 10 min: Welcome and demo — show slab roller and cut a segment of clay with scalloped patterns or with a form - parent-kid teamwork. • 15 min: Decoration — imprints with stamps, sea shells, fingers etc.. • 30 min: Hands-on play — parent will guide kid to roll, pat, and shape trays, then the tray is raised by taking the outer edges of the scalloped cuts and rounding them. Instructor will give a quick demo about tray construction. • • 5 min: Wrap-up — let trays air dry, decide if you will come back to glaze post bisque firing or if you want to return to the studio to glaze your pieces.

We have these policies in place to provide proper support to the employee(s) and artist(s) booked specifically for your event along with the fact that another customer may have wished to book this event if the space/time was available. We are a small business aiming to provide the best service possible to our guests, patrons, and studio members. To receive a full refund or the option for free rescheduling, the studio must be notified at least 5 days prior to the event date. Any refund offered may be subject to a 4% processing fee. Any time period less than 5 days but more than 2 days prior to the event will result in a rescheduling/cancellation fee equal to 50% of the cost of your workshop or event. We do not allow rescheduling within 48 hours of the class and no refunds will be offered for cancellations.
