Future Antiques: A Pottery Studio

Service Description

Come and use our stamps, rollers or doilies to make impressions in clay to create wonderfully unique trays, plates, or other ware. Want to get fancy? Let’s call them charcutier boards. All pieces will be food safe and dishwasher safe. This workshop used slab techniques for building. Each participant can make textured wares of various sizes and shapes (possibilities: 4 small, 1 medium & 2 small, 2 medium, 1 large & 1 small, or 1 extra-large ~11”) and includes glazing via the studio or an appointment to glaze yourself. We pair doilies with various forms (see picture) in this way a participant can free form cut along the edges of the doily for an organic or straight edged effects. The following workshop is customizable and offers creative freedom. The cost is $75 per potter and is for ages 6 and up (parental guidance is recommended for younger children). The cost includes studio doing a blue or brown wash and a clear glaze. If you want to glaze yourself, please sign up or make an appointment through the webpage. Upcharge per item: Small trays are $5 each (tea candle holders & small tray), medium trays are $10 per additional tray (med. ovals, hexagons, and rectangular trays), large items are $15 (plates, napkin holders, vases, tripods, and hanging planters) and slightly larger are $25 (large bowl, charcutier boards, or large vases). Cancellation Policy

Please review our rescheduling/cancellation policies before booking. We have these policies in place to provide proper support to the employee(s) and artist(s) booked specifically for your event along with the fact that another customer may have wished to book this event if the space/time was available. We are a small business aiming to provide the best service possible to our guests, patrons, and studio members. To receive a full refund or the option for free rescheduling, the studio must be notified at least 5 days prior to the event date. Any refund offered may be subject to a 4% processing fee. Any time period less than 5 days but more than 2 days prior to the event will result in a rescheduling/cancellation fee equal to 50% of the cost of your workshop or event. We do not allow rescheduling within 48 hours of the class and no refunds will be offered for cancellations.
