Catch All Tray Making
Need a cool tray for an event, jewelry, fruit or just for fun? This is your class!
Service Description
Come and use our stamps, rollers or doilies to make impressions in clay to create wonderfully unique trays, plates, or other ware. Want to get fancy? Let’s call them charcutier boards. All pieces will be food safe and dishwasher safe. This workshop used slab techniques for building. Each participant can make textured wares of various sizes and shapes (possibilities: 4 small, 1 medium & 2 small, 2 medium, 1 large and includes dip glazes or an appointment to glaze yourself ($10). We pair doilies with various forms (see picture) in this way a participant can free form cut along the edges of the doily for an organic or straight edged effects. The cost is $40 per potter and is for ages 6 and up (parental guidance is recommended for younger children). Up-charge per item: Small trays are $5 each (tea candle holders & small tray), medium trays are $15, large trays are $30 per additional tray (med. ovals, hexagons, and rectangular trays), and larger items are $50-75 (large bowl, charcuterie boards, or large vases). To receive a full refund or the option for free rescheduling, the studio must be notified at least 5 days prior to the event date. Any refund offered may be subject to a 4% processing fee. We do not allow rescheduling within 5 days of the class and no refunds will be offered for cancellations.
